This holiday season, Askinosie Chocolate is hosting an event that will teach you how to easily prepare decadent treats for your holiday gatherings that will wow your guests. Featuring live music and free samples, this event will give you tips on creating great holiday treats, using local craft chocolate.
The first event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. At this event, Shawn Askinosie, founder and chocolate maker of Askinosie Chocolate, will demonstrate in three easy steps how to make rich chocolate truffles. Askinosie will be illustrating the same techniques that he used in a recent exclusive truffle class in Tuscany. You've always wanted to learn how to make truffles and we can show you the simple technique that will impress your guests at your next holiday party.
This event is open to the public and is "pay-what-you-can" admission fee, to raise money for Askinosie Chocolate's youth community program, Chocolate University.
