Battlefield Mall invites local residents to get prepared for the upcoming storm season at the Severe Weather Awareness Expo featuring the National Weather Service. The family-friendly event focuses on the importance of preparedness and safety during inclement weather conditions and will feature vendors, storm vehicles, a tornado simulator, giveaways and more.
Participants include Don Louzader with KTTS, Ron Hurst with KY3, Servpro of Springfield, Greene County Emergency Management, American Red Cross, F5 Storm Shelters, Atlas Safe Rooms, TECO Restoration and City Utilities, as well as area businesses that can help residents take necessary precautions for their families and homes.
