Thursday nights starting at 8:30pm, join Swing Springfield, Anne & Andy Walls and Dance With Me for an awesome evening of swing dancing with the most fun people in town! Music selections will include classic swing music for jitterbugs and lindy-hoppers as well as lots of the hottest west coast swing music in the nation today! This is a social dance open to our students and the general public. We offer the best mix of music in town, ranging from classic to modern selections! Our music comes from some of the best dance dj's in the nation, so be ready to dance! Our dance floor is one of the nicest in the midwest and one of the largest in the state of Missouri. We do not exaggerate when we say that we have the largest, all hardwood, dance floor in Springfield. Our floor is not laminate, concrete, or any other variation of a dance floor. Plus the Savoy Ballroom is one of the nicest event centers in the state of Missouri with copious amounts of air conditioning, gorgeous lighting from crystal chandeliers, plus we are in the The dance floor at the Savoy Ballroom is the perfect floor on which to dance the night away! We offer full bar services, ranging from call liquors, signature cocktails, several beer choices and a very nice wine selection. All of this is offered to our students and the general public ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! Any money collected on these dance nights are collected as a donation to support a local charitable cause.
